Fox News Contributor Rips Into Palin: "The Woman Is Inarticulate, Undereducated" (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 08/06/09 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 02:35 PM ET

Even Fox News has started to turn on Sarah Palin. In the midst of a segment about the Alaska Governor's battle against "liberal" attacks, Liz Trotta went off-message.

Frankly, "the woman is inarticulate, undereducated," Trotta said, arguing that for once liberal criticism was "well-deserved."

"I think all the liberal stylists ... really have a case. She just begs for adjectives like flaky and wacky." When pressed, she added, "We're talking about somebody who, right from the get-go, has been a flashy person who gets into a lot of trouble and really has no credentials for any job."

When a Republican like Liz Trotta start calling out Palin on a Republican news network, that's when you know the GOP is imploding on itself.

You people apparently don't watch Fox News much...... As for all of these random opinions about Sarah Palin....She wasn't ready for the public stage, but enough already. All of this speculation, back biting, name calling, gossip, lies, law suits, ethics charges....etc. etc. etc.......Let's move on.
11:17 AM on 07/10/2009
I bet Liz Trotta's days at FOX are OVER! She will be blacklisted - the commentator kept trying to get her back on track - she was not going there - she was articulate and smart - she is correct palin is neither.
12:57 PM on 07/10/2009
Exactly as I thought too! They commentator looked stunned and then nervous. Ms. Trotta was very articulate. For once, Fox actually had someone speaking from a "Fair & Balanced" perspective. Ironic that it means she won't be a guest again anytime soon.

I am going to drop dead! Surely Fox News would not have somone speak on its network that does not treat its viewing audience to the Republican line?! The woman spoke clearly in complete sentences about Sarah and nailed it!

Now this is really Nailin Palin.

Somebody at Faux stated the obvious about Palin ? Probably not a good carear move when you work for a cabal that is dedicated to spreading propoganda and appeals only to the most ignorant sector of the most braindead population on earth . It's always a big story when a Murdock employee says something that's true .
07:42 PM on 07/09/2009
When those folks who are supposed to be on your side turn against you, you know the party is over!
06:24 PM on 07/09/2009
Quite frankly, I still contend that the people in Alaska can't be the sharpest knives in the American drawer...
09:23 PM on 07/09/2009
kwoodberry I agree with you 100%, the people in Alaska are not very bright.
06:23 PM on 07/09/2009
Thanks to somebody at Fox News for coming to their senses about Sarah Palin.

As a Republican, as a conservative, I'm going to say this loud and clear, so that everyone may listen:

Being stupid is NOT patriotic or American. It's just plain stupid.

Thank you, Mister D! I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see a conservative who is able to be objective about one of their own, let alone in a public forum - a true rarity these days. Thank you for your willingness to put aside your personal politics to see Sarah Palin for what she is.

As far as your closing statement...I wholeheartedly agree. I just wish more people did. Giving an undereducated narcissist like Sarah Palin power because you like her looks, the fact that she's a working mom, ad nauseum is sheer stupidity.
01:11 PM on 07/10/2009
Bravo sir. Now how do we get that message out? Stupid seems to be considered a virtue these days.

Whatever our political differences, it is so important that we all start stressing intelligence in this country if we have any hope for solving our problems. This country always prided itself on 'good old American ingenuity', and I do believe that is something we'll need to turn around the economy and deal with healthcare, education, etc.

Stupidity and divisiveness need to go. Working together & having honest discourse seems a lot more patriotic.

The VF article about Sarah is titled 'It came from Wasilla'. Appropriate. She's a horror movie.
11:27 PM on 07/09/2009
She's coming out with a new book: Who's Who is Wasilla.
11:27 PM on 07/09/2009

Well, her days at the Fake News Channel are numbered, but...........I would not mind seeing her at my one and only station, MSNBC.

TJMLRC, you and you conservative buddies didn't even whisper a complaint when Bush was running up record deficits and looking the other way while Wall Street was raping the country. Bush was an Ivy-Leaguer too, a Yale boy, but I didn't read any reference to that in your comments.
