What a beautiful family. The only thing that come to mind about the memorial services is perfect. My hope is that the family find somehow the strenght to get thru their loss. Even though we loved Michael and the joy he bought to so many of our lives with his dance and music, is in noway the pain this family feel.
I lost my daughter so aburptly when she was just 20 years old, and I understand that mother's pain, you people with all your opinions cant know what that kind of pain is like until you've lived it.

May God keep each of you in his loving care.

I really wish people would have more respect and compassion for Michael's kids and his other family members. They are hurting and have many adjustments to make, loved Michael, and the kids will be forever changed because of his untiimely death. Hopefully, they are not reading the negative things written about Michael. Prince, Paris and Blanket are Michael's children, and they love him.

Usher, unless you're the daddy, especially in public, admire but keep your hands off the tummy. Geez!

She was fine. She wasn't performing for your approval. She was singing from a broken heart. Can you respect that without being a critic?

As much as I loved Michael Jackson as a entertainer and humanitarian, I have accepted that it was just

his time to crossover. Some leave in Morning, some at Mid-Day (Michael) and some at Mid-night.

We are not meant to stay. I love you Michael; I mourn your death; you are now a memory; Oh, but what

SWEET MEMORIES!! Even in death love never dies. My heart-felt condolences to the Jackson family,

especially to Prince, Paris and Blanket. Moon Walk across the Stars, MJ.

Why is Mariah Carey famous?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 02:57 PM on 07/08/2009

You don't know why she's famous?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:39 PM on 07/08/2009

She absolutely murdered that beautiful song. But at least she wasn't dressed in her usual hootchie style. I cannot listen to her vocal stylings for even a minute. But yeah, I know she's famous; I just don't understand why.

Mariah used to be a really good singer and songwriter. She had some great music, at the beginning of her career. Later in the years, she then became "Mariah Scarey". I don't know what happened? She changed her name; she changed her genre of music; and her voice changed quite a bit, too.

Her 1992 version of "I'll Be There" with Trey Lorenz, from MTV's Unplugged, was an excellent remake of Michael's classic song.

Debbie Rowe and the Mrs.Jackson need to put the welfare of those three kids first and foremost. They don't need to be put through some nasty court battle. With the media just loving every bit of it. I believe they can step up and do what's best for the lovely kids.

Debbie Rowe shouldn't even be in the picture. She never was part of their life.

Now if the average mom was NEVER part of their kids' lives, and their only other parent died, who do you think the courts would give the kids to? The grandmother that they've known, and had a relationship with all of their lives, or this total stranger that said publicly, "I never wanted them. I would make a horrible mother."?

I want to say the Memorial Services was nicely done. At first I was not going to watch it, but I'm so glad I did. I fine nothing wrong with the little girl Paris telling the world that she loved Her father. This have been said before so many times, but I am so sorry he is gone. But I strongly believe that when the Lord calls you, you must answer. As hard as it is for me, it was Michael time to go home. I thank God for the time he allow Michael to be hear with us. His music , his spirit will live forever. Of the people who spoke at the Service, I enjoyed were Magic Johnson talked about the KFC chicken, when Barry Gordy spoke, Rev. Sharpton, and Brooke Shield. And Marlon Jackson too. As I said before the Service was special.Wait one minute, I enjoyed Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. She showed that Congress is not all fill with fools like Congressman Peter King of New York. Lord please watch over Paris, Prince Michael, and Blanket.

I just purchased about 5 MJ CDs and wish the money (along with the money from others that have purchased MJ CDs recently) could go directly into a trust for those kids where no one else could touch it. I don't care much about the other Jacksons (no hate intended) or the leaches that continue to follow them (hate intended) but those kids deserve only the best from Michael's estate. All they really have now is each other and memories of their father.

Go get "The Game" (a rap artist) new single about Michael Jackson. He wrote it on the day Michael died and ALL of the proceeds go to Michael's family.

In reading some of the comments, surmising motivations of people who have been pulled into this tragedy... I can't help but think how much Michael Jackson would have hated the hate speech that swirl around all the players. One person is certain Debbie Rowe is heartless and calculating, another person demonizing Joseph Jackson.

Please remember that all these people are real humans that you are talking about. Those of us not personally acquainted with them, can hardly stand in judgment about what their true motivations were or are.

I found the memorial quite moving and I found myself discovering the humanity that was his. There was one thing that I found hard... and that is the over the top pronouncements that Mr. Jackson was the end-all be all to all entertainers, philanthropy, and music. There were times the memorial trounced a little upon my more delicate sensibilities concerning modesty.... even if such pronouncements were very understandable in the moments when all who knew him well were dealing with grief.

My guess is that Mr. Jackson would have loved seeing the outpouring of love heaped upon his brow and would have felt very blessed. I also think he would have felt a little uncomfortable (and humbled) by his apparent beatification.

Regardless, I do want to thank all those who knew Mr. Jackson, his family...his friends, for permitting such a public memorial. I am richer for it.

Your opinions on this are just as odd to me as those that criticize. Nobody but the immediate Jackson clan know what the truth is or how great or terrible MJ was.

Everyone seems to want to project their own beliefs into this issue, without any first hand knowledge.

Why get so caught up in something that is so far from ones own reality and life?

That was nicely written and I echo your thoughts. Michael had a gentle soul and would have appreciated what you have written. I wish everyone would listen to the words of his song “Man in the mirror”. And worried more about self. God will take care of the rest.

i've actually wondered if debbie rowe is seeking custody just to make sure those kids don't end up around him, so she can control that.

As someone who suffered at ht rhands of a father like it appears Joe was...nothing would make me happier than to have seen that pittiful man to be shunned by his family and cut out of all of thier wills. If it was up to me...I would have barfed on him if he tried to hug me like he did chasing after his sons who hugged Usher. What a d!sgusting man.

Yeah, it's disgusting to think about the mental abuse he heaped on his children. It seems that Michael, in particular, had the weight of the world on his little shoulders at such a young age. The entire Jackson family has much to thank Michael for--their successes as entertainers are due to the opportunities provided by Michael's success. But Joe Jackson seems to be only out for himself and promoting his record label. It will be interesting to see what happens with that as I doubt very many people like the man.

It is all about Joe....egomaniac for sure. Whatever his record company is...I will be sure never to buy anyone who signed by him.

Somebody wrote that 99% are with you...guess I represent the 1% that is not there. I think that all the Jackson children suffered something...what, we will never know...at the hands of their strict disciplinary father. I was chastised for saying this before...but here I go again...I really don't think that Joe was the monster that the world has created him to be all of these years...He was probably half as bad as we all think he was...he wasn't the most loving father and was probably less as a husband...but the fact remains this man is the reason for the Jackson 5...and Michael Jackson. There has to be something telling in that the entire family was together in LasVegas on May 14, 2009 celebrating their parents 60th wedding anniversary...Joe was contacted immediately and flew to LA from LasVegas the day that MJ went into arrest...think he knew before most of Michaels siblings.

People need to quit judging this man...this was his child and I'ms sure he loved him...like any parent loves his children...he was not a good father...that happens...but he stayed there...and unless we walk in his shoes...deal with what he was dealing with at the time...we can not sit in judgement...God will Judge Joe Jackson when it is his turn to be called Home to Glory

Whoever was not moved by this memorial service and especially by Paris' final comment does not have a heart...his relationship with his kids was real and they love him dearly.

This was painful and very sad to watch. I was crying the whole time. Sobbing. He was a genius, and like most geniuses unrecognized until it's too late.

He's at peace now...all media--allow this family and his fans to heal. He will never be forgotten. His fans are going to keep him alive forever. The light of his soul will never die.
