Given the state of world, most of these high and mighty morons should be living in dumpsters. Not impressed.

King Juan Carlos and his family officially live in the Palace of Madrid

I really do not care. So many American's are losing their homes, mothers, former wives leaving with nothing to house themselves or their children who still live with them.. people losing jobs.. seems a little Marie Antoinette to me right now.

Err, Hmm

Liechtenstein and Monaco are not exactly "World Leaders."

Out here in the Western USA we have a big problem with rich people building trophy homes. Rather, they used to be called Trophy Homes. Now they have become known as Starter Castles.

No need to encourage them.

Well, got to agree with you about Liechtenstein and Monaco not being world leaders.

On the other hand, this would be a boring choice without a couple of real medieval castles (not fakes or trophy home, bits of Schloss Vaduz go back to the 12th century).

A lot of world leaders live in pretty normal houses, though big enough for diplomatic receptions, and commute to their offices.

Watching the Tour de France, the little farm houses and villages have more style than the mansions of our millionaires. How well they protect their landscape, no ugly shacks and eyesores along the roads.

Some of you need to lighten up. Leaders have lived like this since time began. To whom much is given, much is required.

Although I don't like all of the spots, it does re-awaken my desire to see the world.

But I also love icelands presidential home....its so serene and pretty...

Yes, Saint Peter's Square (funny we still call it a "square" when it's a perfect circle... :) ) is one of the top 5 architectonic marvels of the world. But the question is "would you live there?" Heck no, I'll take the timber house in Iceland or even the cute mountain castle in Lichtenstein...(the one in Monaco is way too big and imposing.)
