George William Geist: Willie Geist Welcomes New Son!

"Morning Joe" co-host Willie Geist welcomed a new baby Wednesday when his wife Christina gave birth to a son.

George William Geist was born at 1:35 PM Wednesday afternoon, and while Willie was out Thursday morning the "Morning Joe" panel congratulated Willie and Christina on the birth of their new son.

Mike Barnicle commented that Willie named his son "George W." while TIME Managing Editor Rick Stengel asked, "What does it mean that this baby on the second day of his life is already on television?"

Congratulations. That's a beautiful baby. I think Morning Joe is a weird show. I like Willie and Mika. Joe is so phlegmatic and scattered you want to slap him. They have good guests though. Is it Eugene Robinson who is the Pulitzer Prize winner? He's great. And Zbigniew Brzenzski (sp? halp!) is often kind of amazing and mesmerizing. He keeps you on the edge of your chair. Too bad there aren't more pundits like him.

congrats Willie, I watch everyday, they do have great guests. No one was more suprised than me, when I started watching and liked the show. Sometimes I turn the volumn down when Joe rants, but the guest make up for that.
