This real life robot called DustCart, created as part of the $3.9 million DustBot research program has been busy at work on the streets of Pecciolli, Italy. The Wall-E lookalike collects trash and measures atmospheric pollutants and is hoping to revolutionize trash-picking in Italy.

Just don't make it TOO smart or it will realize that it doesn't have to pick up litter if it gets rid of the people that drop it.
