I Like ItI Don’t Like It

John McCain strongly defended Sarah Palin's decision to resign as governor of Alaska Sunday on "Meet the Press." McCain said he wasn't "shocked" by her sudden decision and doesn't think it will mean she won't be a major player on the national political scene:

I wasn't shocked. Obviously, I was a bit surprised, but I wasn't shocked. I understand that Sarah made the decision where she can most effective for Alaska and for the country. I love and respect her and her family. I'm grateful that she agreed to run with me. I'm confident she will be a major factor in the national political scene.

Pressed by host David Gregory how, as a man known for his dedication and refusal to quit, McCain can plausibly say that Palin didn't quit her job, he replied, "I don't think she quit. I think she changed her priorities."

McCain also reiterated that he "knows" Palin is qualified to be President.

Calling something by a different name doesn't change it's reality. More and More he shows what a slippery sleazy salesman type politician he is. He may as well have said "No, I did not marry a woman, I married a person with overies and a uterus who is a different sex than me." It is a bunch of extra wording thrown in to obfuscate a very clear situation.

It is obvious that without constant camera attention this man will wither up and cease to exist.

I know why McCain is SUDDENLY saying that Palin is ready.....because he made a deal with her. If he says nice things about her now, she will campaign for him during his next Senate run.

Wait and see.....I'll bet she will show up in Arizona....very soon, because he has suddenly changed his tune again.

Just wait and see......

McCain never quit, except when he abruptly suspended his campaign.

this ticket was clearly a not only A losing team but a team of quitters when the going get's tough...
