Jill Biden To Have Orthopedic Surgery

WASHINGTON — Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will have orthopedic surgery Monday to relieve shoulder pain.

Mrs. Biden will have the outpatient procedure performed at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, the White House said Sunday. The vice president will accompany her to the hospital, and the Bidens plan to spend the rest of Monday and Tuesday at their home in Delaware.

Joe Biden will return to Washington on Tuesday evening, the White House said.

Pardon me while I get a little soft for a moment, but I feel this is a true love story. Perhaps it stands out because we hear so much of the opposite...couples and their affairs and such. For those who know the Bidens, there is no surprise here that Joe would accompany Jill to the hospital, then with her back to Delaware. But I just think it's very sweet, very loving, very much about a wonderful respect this couple has for each other. The Biden family is very loving.

As I was reading this, I was called to be dunned by the Medical Center over an unpaid bill.

The Medical Center has, repeatedly double and triple charged me for procedures I had paid CASH IN ADVANCE.

I was denied insurance because I have treatable hypertension (caused by no health insurance) and was diagnosed with cancer. To date my care has cost $228,000 and the cancer is spreading.

Retirement is out of the question, as all my life's work and savings accounts will soon transform into an Administrator's Bentley in the parking garage.

So it seems reasonable for the Cancer center to want their money before I die.
