Western Gas Pipeline Agreement Signed By Turkey, 4 European Countries

A project for a gas pipeline that would reduce Europe's dependence on Russian gas cleared a hurdle on Monday when four European governments signed an agreement with Turkey. But completion of the project remained a distant goal, with no suppliers formally committed.
