Obama MLB All-Star Game: Will Throw Out First Pitch, Be In Fox Broadcast Booth

ST. LOUIS — President Barack Obama will be in the Fox broadcast booth for Tuesday night's All-Star game.

Fox spokesman Lou D'Ermilio said Monday that Obama will join Joe Buck and Tim McCarver for the telecast from Busch Stadium but that the inning had not yet been determined.

Obama is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols will be on the receiving end.

A) FOX PURPOSELY filmed Obama from the side, so you couldn't tell whether he threw a strike or not.

B) When The President was announced, the amplified the, "boos" in the audience or piped some in, just to ruin the moment....

Bush through out first pitch at the World Series. Last president to throw out first pitch at an All-Star game was Ford. Crowd may have been booing his attire - White Sox jacket and blue jeans. Crowd also seemed to boo Cubs players.

I'm conserative and have no problems with the president throwing out the first pitch. No problem with the pitch being a bit short - his sport is basketball, not baseball. I also think it is wrong for crowd to boo the president no matter who he is.

The liberals, press, and "comedians" still go after George W. Bush and Sarah Palin almost daily, but the same people feel it is uncalled for if someone says something about Obama! At what hospital was he born? He has mentioned two. Where did he meet his wife? In class or when he was an intern at the law office? He's told both stories. He can't be trusted. But it is still wrong to boo the president at a baseball game.
