The very essence of what's wrong with this country and it's people. GREED and CORRUPTION.
But! But! as any fool can see! we beloved Blue Dogs must keep getting the bribes from the HMO's and the Drug Lords, cause we need to pay for our health care Right? Oh! We politicos get our health care for free? Damn, I did'nt know that! Right? Petey Stark, Demorat-California
We're attempting to change a $5 Trillion Dollar infrastructure that doesn't agree with the need to change... they fight back. They buy votes.
Yet again, another closet Corporate Democrat, walking the corporate line, I can't believe anyone is surprised by this? The left is about as uneducated as the right. The Democrats and Republicans represent the same party, the corporate state, which supports Interest Groups, over the Individual. Where have you all been hiding since the 1920's? Its called fascism, and its been here for quite awhile...
This was another questionable fundraiser .......

Doubt if it helps but, I have sent this jerk an email with my disapproval too.
It's one thing for congressional representatives to hear out the lobbyists representing the interest of the health care industry, but it is an entirely different matter, when money changes hands. This should automatically disqualify those voting and making policy. By taking money, they have compromised and crossed the line of representing the people's interest vs the interest of the business they have taken money from.
I find this article to be HILARIOUS. Have you heard of "Americare"? Pete Stark wrote that, it's as progressive as you can get and it's REAL change.
Until we have REAL campaign finance reform those with the most money will have the most power. Face it. We as a people are very apathetic come election time. Just ask Howard Dean. Good intentions don't count at the ballot box.
Look at the invitation and the PRICE TAG--

Those republicans don't sell themselves cheap, ya know.
have a comment on this? Send it to his Committee for Re-Election (which is apparently responsible for the marketing/sale of Stark's health care votes):
