Our government is obviously not representing us anymore. Just because you vote for someone, doesn't mean they are representing you.

If we hearken back to the cry of "no taxation without representation", then the only people who have to pay taxes in this country should be the special interests, corporations and lobyists.

Tax Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc and all their employees back to the middle class.

Fatcat: "but all our employees would leave."

Me: "Good. What they do is bad for this country anyway."

This country is owned and controlled by Goldman Sacks and the Federal Reserve, who are tied to the the global agenda, where the rich and elitists dominate and control everything.

That might be a political problem in France but in these United States there is hardly a peep of protest about it. American people have been trained well to eat s__t while believing they are a part of the Number One Team. America has become a modern day feudalistic system, with Lords on the top and serfdom at the bottom. And the Lords aren't happy just ruling America; they want to rule the world. I don't think this will end up well unless a critical mass of Americans wakes up real soon. I have my doubts this even possible.

Nationalize Goldman Sachs and the other main players. Banks should be deemed as nothing more than utilities. The fact that they are deemed to be personal piggy banks by their employees is the root cause of all our financial problems.

Solution is simple, higher taxes. Sorry but once a company starts amassing huge utterly ludicrous profits, the government needs to start taking big cuts of it IMO.

These companies do not exist without a stable government.

Matt Taibbe of Rolling Stone reports that Goldman Sacks is all set up to profit from Cap and Trade, by trading the instruments they are going to trade.

The only terrorists I fear live on two streets in out country,- Wall Street and K Street. Wall Street's only real goal is to extract as much wealth from the middle class as they possibly can. K Street goal is to undermine what little political representation an individual can get in America.

What is scandalous is Henri Guaino writting a speech for Sarkonazi in which it is mentionned that black people have no history and go from tree to tree eating fruits and never think about the future.

I think you were thinking about chimps not humans when you wrote that...

Nothing is going to change. People will just get more disgusted by politicians and feel powerless regarding injustice. Soon people will not even bother to vote and that's dangerous.

I don't think that any politician in this country thinks about social disintegration. Politicians have been corrupt for so long, they are afraid to open their mouths. People have been going without health insurance, without housing, without education for so long it has become part of American reality. French were solving their problems over past decades and they will emerge better from any crisis.

Can we get a representative in Congress or the Senate to call for forensic accounting of firms receiving TARP money, dating back 7 to 10 years, in the least, and the following records made public:

a) loan book records, detail showing where profit left firm

b) cash distributions (total dividends extracted from balance sheet annually prior to claiming they were under capitalized, and since that time)

c) number of subsidiary firms receiving cash from bank balance sheet, that may be paid back later, as a loan –

d) record of funds routed offshore per quarter, and back into company accounts the next quarter where the financial firm might be claiming a profit from trading, but is simply routing funds back to their firm, which were parked offshore during the crisis. Rotations going back 10 years can measure increased activity in moving money offshore; outside of U.S. accounts.

e) executive payout and bonus payment records, for prior 10 years to see if firms ever paid out that much money in any year prior to 2008 or in past down economic cycles.

f) shareholder registry to cross reference with Fed Board of Governors and Secretary of Treasury officers or policy makers, to see if regulators approving actions of Treasury, or acting to write new regulatory law, are also shareholders of banks benefiting from pass through operations (via past or present dividends/cash distributions)

Sample petition above. Print on legal size paper and fax.

Print extra copies. Talk with company employees, neighbors and business associates to see if they agree things have gone too far.

I voted for Obama too but he seems to be backing away from his campaign promises faster than you can say "No taxation without representation!"
