Traffic Violations, Including Speeding, Running Red Lights, Ignored By NYPD: Advocacy Group

When it comes to driving, the city's streets might as well be the Wild West, where lawlessness abounds, sheriffs look the other way -- and people die as a result. So says a new scathing report authored by advocacy group Transportation Alternatives, which blasts the NYPD for not cracking down on dangerous traffic violations like running red lights, speeding and not yielding to pedestrians.
