Seth MacFarlane Gets Emmy Nomination For "Outstanding Voice-Over Performance" In Family Guy Episode "I Dream Of Jesus" (VIDEO)
The hit animated series "Family Guy" scored a major triumph when it became the the first animated series to be nominated for an Emmy (Best Comedy Series) in 48 years. The last animated series to be up for an Emmy was "The Flinstones" in 1961.
Indeed, "Family Guy" received not one but two Emmy nominations. The second is for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance, which series creator Seth MacFarlane hopes to take home for his portrayal of Peter Griffin in the episode "I Dream of Jesus." Watch clips from the episode below.
