Wall Street Journal:

WASHINGTON -- The pharmaceuticals industry, which President Barack Obama promised to "take on" during his campaign, is winning most of what it wants in the health-care overhaul.

The final contours of the legislation are far from settled, but the industry, led by a onetime powerful congressman, has notched a string of victories.

As a clinical staff pharmacist at my local hospital I see the numerous inadequacies of our current health care system everyday when I go to work. I've also spent countless hours researching what would comprise successful health care reform here in the United States. All parties involved will have to compromise a little to get this done. But the biggest responsibility lies on us as individuals to reduce long term costs associated with health care. Read my article to find out more - http://bit.ly/9QLV8

I believe they (the powers to be) let us have Obama who incited hope and with that they hoped they could delay the true state of our economy, while they are on a feeding frenzy. Obama does not have the power to override this - he is a puppet of the Bilderbergs, whoever they may be. I believe whoever
washes out as the front candidate will be briefed, either he will go along with their rules or he won't make it. We have seen this in the past, where all the conspiracy stories stem from.

Everything changes. One of the things that will make health care work is that everyone pays into it except those who cannot afford it and there are set prices for all services and drugs. The final chapter has not been written and Pharma has seen the game plaid before. It has never won against any country yet.

Wow-- how shocking! Someone should do an expose. Big money influencing politics. Hmmmm...

This is just sick---vote 'em all out. If they sell out they should be voted out.

Whether it is pharma or insurance the problem is the samet, to understand and get an inside view of how our elected politicians are manipulated and where the real powers are look at the Bill Moyers interview of Wendell Potter http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/07102009/watch2.html
This battle is one of the most difficult President Obama has to face, not only does he have the different industry players fighting tooth and nail, but he conservatives feel they can handicap him for good and demonstrate to the moneybag holders from Wall street on down that they are credible recipients of their "largesse".
It is grass roots time, time to take back the democracy that has been sold out to special interests.

This is all getting to the point of ridiculousness. There is so much corruption, even more than when Bush ran things. By the time the feeding frenzy is over, the sharks will have bought the rights to the air we breathe, our minds, our bodies; take the blue pill everyone! the red pill only brings torment to one's ethical and moral sole (i prefer it that way).

Well of course they get what they want. Our political system is made up of the party that is unapologetically in favor of anything the robber barons want and the side that is quietly on the side of business. There isn't a party of, by, or for the people any more.

How do we get the word out to the people that influence peddling is deciding the health care plan we will pay for with our tax dollars.
This is going to be more corporate welfare.
The MSM will not expose the facts. A censored press is a dictatorship.

President Obama is going to need the people in the next four years. If he fails us, he loses us. This is the dumbest move he can make. It is almost as dumb as some of the moves Nixon made with Hughes.

Thats right :
-- If Obama does significant things, he will be reelected
-- If he continues to serve the interests of the Health Insurance Mafia and Wall Street, he goes OUT

Lets see iif we can find some new political parties. The two we have are hoplessely corrupt

Oh? But who goes in? As an Independent, there sure doesn't seem to be any clear differences between the two parties. I wanted a new FDR, most of my family did as well.
