Oh yes you are stabbing the AA in the back if you join the chorus of our enemies to demonize one of Americas civil rights warriors, and in fact, heroes. Jesse Jackson has negotiated the release of many white hostages, including some in the hands of Saddam Hussein. He has fought for the poor. He has battled ardent ra:c.i:st towns, police offices, mayors, entire states, United States itself, attained Martin Luther King Holidays, even from states like Arizona; led boycott of recalcitrant companies that discriminated against African American Community and other communities, and so much more. He raised a son to be in the US Congress. Has he made any mistakes? I don't care if he has. What have you done for AA community lately yourself?

Of all 10 of your post there is not one bit of insight. All you seem to do is call people names and post other peoples thoughts. That does no bode well for your own intellect!

Rev. Jesse Jackson has a radio show that is not carried by large media outlets. I think he has been doing it for years. On that show Mr. Jackson discusses many different issues with everyday Americans oof all cultures. Anyone is welcome to call in..
You even get some hecklers that call in just like the idiots that are here to do just that. He politely just moves to the next caller. Thew program is very insightful and I listen when I have a chance. To say that the man is out for fame is a tactic by haters that mean african americans no earthly good.

It is really a joke to here and listen to people that probably lock their car doors when they see black kids walk by, sit here and talk about Jesse Jackson. Show us where the h3ll you have done something for the black community even comparable to Mr Jackson. That goes for all the sideline snipers hanging out here today.

WHY? So that you and your motley crew could do the ole 'Minister" thingy with us again? Been there with you, and I personally have that "T" Shirt... You have long since felt yourself too strong, and you surely got it all wrong Jackson.

Jesse Jackson and his crowd sniped at Obama during the primaries. The New Yorker article inside the issue with the "terrorist fist-bump" cover was downright nasty. He only wants in because it will get him more face time on TV.

Where has Rev. Jackson been hiding? President Obama has engaged with Black leaders, namely the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP. He has not engaged specifically with Rev. Jackson because the reverend does not have an agenda. While I commend Jackson for bringing some matters to light, he is all over the place. Maybe when he prioritizes his agenda and shows that he is doing something, the Black community and Mr. President will give him some time.

Otherwise, I and many of Blacks just wishes that Rev. Jackson would go somewhere and "sit down". At times he is a lot like the GOP, good for harping on what is wrong but never one to offer a solution. The President is just one person and he cannot solve the ills of this country alone. If Jackson and his group would focus on one problem at a time and pose a viable solution, I and many others and possibly the president might consider listening more closely to what he has to say. Otherwise we will continue to consider him as someone vying for some camera time!

Jesse Jackson should hang out more with his soul mate, Joseph Jackson. The two can collaborate on a book on professional parasitism.

Thank god Obama doesn't hang with Jackson. He would lose his overall credibility. Jackson and his ilk should retire from the public spotlight and let a REAL and decent black man take over. You never hear Obama pulling the race card or making a political opportunities a circus. It gets old and I vote for no more air time for Jackson and company and more focus on those African Americans who have a balanced outlook on all issues.

I agree with you. I worked for Jesse Jackson's campaign in 88 but have come to realize he is a first rank opportunist.

He always has been and the most recent fiascos show how it was passed down. It has always been about him and not any 'cause' he professed to represent. Its a ME thing with Jackson! Might I add, a phoney opportunist!

The 2nd most dangerous place in America is between Jesse Jackson and a tv camera.

The problem with Jackson, is the he likes to Politicize everything. Obama doesn't like dramas and doesn't lead in those terms. But, Jackson likes the lime light and cannot be trusted!

Jessie Jackson is no longer relevant. He needs to quietly go in a corner and be quiet. He is extremely jealous because he has no part in the White House Administration. In case, he forgot, Barack Obama was elected the President of the United States....that means he serves all AMERICANS.

Wasn’t he put into the 8yr time-out room after the “cut his balls off” remark he made?

He should have been on that 'time out' forever! Quasi Minister, making a remark like that should be banned.

Jesse is certainly the "old guard". He did have some relevance at one time, maybe the early 70's when he ran for president. Virtually all of my friends voted for him but I did not. But I am glad he had his chance. It's just that when his chance came up, he showed himself to be a total opportunist. I have always seen him as riding on the wave of Martin Luther King, Jr. but conveying nothing new-––just racism, more racism, white hate, opportunism. He is so jealous of President Obama and his hatred and jealousy was shown on television during the presidential election when he was caught on tape in (I am pretty sure it was) the Fox News room. No one is going to take Jesse seriously ever again. I'd much rather hear from his son. I would welcome that. Jesse Senior needs to go away.
