Senator Charles Schumer says he's fighting a piece of legislation that would override New York state's tough conceal and carry gun law.
At a news conference yesterday, Schumer said the measure, which was introduced by South Dakota Senator John Thune, would force communities to let people from other states where concealed weapons are legal carry them into states with tougher gun laws.
