Bobby Jindal Inserts Himself In Health Care Debate: He's "Seen Enough"

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) will wade into the national debate over health care this week by penning op-eds in Politico and the Wall Street Journal and appearing on a series of cable chat shows today and tomorrow.

"Governor Jindal has seen enough," said Curt Anderson, a consultant for Jindal. "As a health-care policy expert, he strongly believes that the House Democrat[ic] plan would be a disaster for the long-term health of the American people, and the long-term health of the economy."

Yea, why should we listen to someone who has more health care experience than Obama, Pelosi and Reid combined. Let's just hurry up and get this great bill passed, let's not worry about reading it to find out what it says or does or even who pays for it. Shoot, Medicare only took a year and a half to construct, so why should we spend more than 2 weeks discussing a complete health care overhaul.

As a clinical staff pharmacist at my local hospital I see the numerous inadequacies of our current health care system everyday when I go to work. I've also spent countless hours researching what would comprise successful health care reform here in the United States. All parties involved will have to compromise a little to get this done.
