Glenn Beck Goes On Epic, Bizarre Rant Against Obama's Health Care Plan: "Be Afraid" (VIDEO)

Glenn Beck contributed to the GOP effort to kill President Obama's plan for health care reform with a bizarre and fear-laden rant on his Fox News show today. Beck direly warned Americans to "be afraid" because Obama is remaking the country "into a place that's a whole lot crappier," and that the nation is becoming a "hybrid between France and Venezuela."

That's just the beginning. The rant takes a bizarre turn as Beck begins to employ the use of various voices and odd facial expressions to emphasize his points.

Glen Beck is one of the few reporters who tells it like it is. Why are the American people so afraid of the truth. Beck tells it like it is and has been for several years now. Go ahead make fun of him, call him names, but I assure you that in the days to come, you will look back on this era and wished that you had listened to what he had to say. No, I am not Glen Beck, I have never met Glen Beck, and I am not kin to Glen Beck. I just have enough sense to realize that our govenrnment is way out of line on a lot of their policies and it is time that we the people had our voices heard and refuse to give our freedom away without a fight. The obama clan is more than willing to take it. As for me and hundreds of thousands of other hard working Americans, we will let our voices be heard. You should take time to listen to what the man actually says. He might not say in the most tasteful way, but he still makes a lot of sense. His "ranting" is no worse than Keith Olberman, who rants and spits and foams at the mouth on a regular basis. Each side has their ranters. One is no worse than the other. It just all depends on which side you fall. I don't think the name calling and hatred is helping anyone, it is hurting. We should all try to find a way to help this country even if we don't all agree on who is best to lead it.

Beck had no problem with the unfunded mandates in the Patriot Pretense that required firms to act as sheriffs. Usually the right wing loves it when some control is given to the states, they call it "states rights" when they like it. But since this is a democratic proposal they don't care that the states will have some power in implementation; they'll betray their own rhetoric in order to lower approval for the program.
