As you've probably noticed, there are no shortage of iPhone apps. In fact, over one billion apps have been downloaded since Apple launched its mobile phone. The world of iPhone apps is so immense that famed venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins launched a $100 million fund to attract app-building entrepreneurs.

But Apple may have a growing problem on its hands. The number of inappropriate, borderline offensive and just plain pornographic iPhone apps has continued to grow. CNET reported recently that Apple is now refusing promo codes to any app that's rated 17+. Sports Illustrated recently released Swimsuit app may be pushing the app decency standards even further.

To help you sort through the app detritus, we've compiled 10 of the most inappropriate iPhone apps we could find, some of which are not be approved by Apple. Which iPhone app is just altogether wrong? Which app is just amateurish? View our SLIDESHOW and VOTE below:

If you come across any other objectionable apps, let us know. Leave your answers in the comments section.

Raising three children is certainly something to think about. One can never expect to know how they will turn out and how life will change them. It happens everyday, wherein children grow up in the same house and take different routes. Paths we wished were different but we still love our children. If only we would learn to love others regardless. Being cruel is not a nice way of life. Cruelty unfolds before you in so many shapes, take a step back and be nice. Take a moment to say something that makes someone else smile. Give back by simply becoming a better person.

"Inappropriate" is one of the biggest and most powerful weasel words in our contemporary lexicon. Inappropriate to what; for what? Certainly not HP. Nor should it be. What do we mean when we use the word? Did the author mean "nasty, sexy, violent, exciting, sacrilegious"? Well, he should use those words instead. I know a little column in HP doesn't mean a hell of a lot, but I'm so sick of that chickenshit word!

I agree with you totally , truck... this word has been hijacked and used as a launch pad for hysteria far too long. Perhaps it is "inappropiate" to laugh in sunday school, but some of the funniest moments of my childhood took place there. What was inappropiate? I think being put in a place where I couldn't laugh was! The only place you maybe shouldn't laugh is the dentist.

Excellent point. I honestly don't see how any of these are that bad... perhaps some clarification of exactly what or who they're "inappropriate" for would help.

If Obama is an illegal immigrant and I have choice of having him or Lou Dobbs as my President, guess which I'd choose.

Lou is a self-described Republican who gave Bush a hard time, too. So, it suggests to me that's how he hopes to compete with the other networks -- oppose whoever's in. Less ideology and more show biz.

When it first went up on the itunes app store, rumors were spread that apple had decided to allow pornographic apps, which is silly right? Apple PR spoke to CNN about the event and delivered this quote:

“Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography. The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content. This was a direct violation of the terms of the iPhone Developer Program. The application is no longer available on the App Store.”

One for you news says what happened was this: The developer went to Apple and showed them an app without any actual dirty pictures. Apple approved it, the developer altered the app to include dirty pictures, and Apple removed the app from their store as a result. Score one win for Apple, and one loss for lovers of dirty pictures everywhere.

I pull up HuffPo everyday and stare at somebody's big, sexy tits. Let's have some big, sexy male parts to "grace" the pages if you really believe it is the only way to pull in readers. Do something for your straight female readers.

Why in the world is this in the Barack Obama section? Does the president develop sexually explicit iPhone apps in his spare time now?

Huffpo editorial work continues to deteriorate...
