"Iron Man 2" Stills: Gwyneth, Scarlett, Downey & More (PHOTOS)

The movie is not out till May 2010, but below are new stills from the recently wrapped "Iron Man 2," starring Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson. The film also stars Don Cheadle, who takes over the role of James Rhodes, played by Terrence Howard in the first film .

Oh, and BTW: Robert Downey, Jr. is pretty much the coolest guy in the world. Watch "Chaplin" and explain to me why that performance and movie were trumped by Hollywood big names like Eastwood's "Unforgiven" (awsome move, but still) and Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman" (also great, but not a good a role as Chaplin).

Can't wait to seen Downey's Sherlock Holmes.

I was sorry to see Terrance Howard get booted. He seemed tough but understated in that role. I associate Don Cheadle too much with the "Ocean's" movies, which I loathed.

Don Cheadle as Rhodes...FAIL!

I collected Iron Man for decades. Terrence Howard was the perfect choice and played the role very well. Big mistake replacing him.

Seriously, what was up with that? I thought Terrence and Robert had really good chemistry together. Cheadle is a great actor, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't make sense why they would do that unless he dropped out, which supposedly isn't the case. Who knows *shakes fist at hollywood political machine*

Rourke looks more and more like Dog Chapman every time I see him.

He's a great actor, but his appearance gets in the way of forgetting who the actor is and becoming involved with what the character is doing.

Terrence Howard should replace Mickey Rourke or Scarlett Johansson. Don Cheadle is appropriate in any movie he's in. But I'll really miss Terrence Howard. Like, ya know, there's a whole slew of white people so why couldn't there be two people of color?
