Bachmann Put On GOP's "Most Vulnerable" List

Minnesota Independent:

The National Republican Congressional Committee has added another Minnesota representative to its list of most vulnerable incumbents for 2010: Rep. Michele Bachmann joins Rep. Erik Paulsen in the NRCC's "Patriot Program," Roll Call reports.

The NRCC announced it is adding 15 more candidates to its fundraising program, bumping the total count of incumbents to 25. Bachmann's addition means she'll compete to make a final cut of 10 candidates who'll participate in the next "Patriot Day," a one-day fundraiser that brought in almost $100,000 last time it was held, in June.

Thank God for State Senator Tarryl Clark! Her announcement that she will be running against Bachmann is like Batgirl coming to save Gotham from the Evil Empire.

The really sad fact is that Michele Bachmann really is representative of how wacky the Republican Party has allowed itself to become. When people like Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Sarah Palin are the best they have to offer, that really puts Bachmann on about the highest level of vulnerability one can imagine.

The good news is that Senator Tarryl Clark is not just a pretty face. (She really is quite beautiful!) She is highly qualified, speaks articulately with common sense, intelligence and integrity, spends her time working for the benefit of Minnesotans and has never been known to have her foot in her mouth. Senator Clark isn't afraid to tell it like it is. The difference between her and Bachmann is like night and day, with Clark being the light!

While Tarryl Clark may be running in a district that is heavily Republican populated, it is doubtful that any amount of "vulnerability money" the GOP can come up with be enough to combat the fact that the good people of Minnesota, regardless of party affiliation, are going to refuse to be embarrassed any longer by politicians who truly do not reflect their outstanding Midwest morals and ethics.
