was just sharing with a friend that the CBC, as a group, is never quoted in the newspaper or television as being "for or against" anything.

A handful of republicans calling themselves democrats have hijacked the democrat party.
The "Blue Cross" Democrats are really just Republicans who rode in on Obama's "change" coat tails. The people in their districts were fed up with the war, the economy and the GOP ethics problems so much that they voted for a Dem this time. The problem is that these Congress members are not Dems. They just said what they needed to get their butts into our Congress. Now their true colors are showing only six months into the new session.
I for one, am fed up. I would support any CBC member any time over these fraudulent Dems.
This is a disaster for a public option in health care reform. President Obama will end up paying the price along with the Amerian people.

About 7 years ago I was watching the CBC on the floor of the house after hours
and I thought to myself these are Americans who really care for the people/country.

....and if the insurance reform works and everyone gets covered - those who work at a job they hate just because of the health insurance they can have a much fuller life by doing what they want and be healthy doing it... just a thought.
Didn't you see Sicko... Moore makes the observation that because of the health care and student loans we are tied to work we hate doing. Then the gov't can do what ever it wants, i.e., work for big business, banks, etc. Can you imagine being emancipated from that? The repugs and repugs in dem clothing are scared of that prospect.

The Black Caucus is a Sham, they couldn't care less about the Country. Don't forget you needed us Blue Dogs or Moderates to win over the Presidency and Congress and you will in the future. Maybe we won't vote Republican, we just won't Vote!
Why is it wrong to debate issues, especially since we know we will pass any bill we want to. Let's make it the best program for the Entire Country not just one special interest group.

We don't need the Blue Dogs to get a republican agenda, we voted for a democratic agenda. If we want a republican agenda we will vote for one. We don't want it.
The Blue Cross Dems rode on the coattails of the message of hope offered by Obama. The least they can do is to enact legislation enacting his top priority. Health care reform was always high on his agenda. Plus they benefit with all the fundraising the DSCC does on their behalf. They are hypocrites and hide behind the excuse that they are listening to their constituents. Except they are shills for the private HMOs -and bought by their lobbyists. Both Obama and the DSCC should put some pressure on these jokers - and get them to do what the majority of Americans want.
Nobody had answered my question, where were the so called Blue DOGs ( Greed Dogs) when we were running up the deficit by supporting a war base on lies and deceptions in Iraq? We spent almost trillion on the war that could have been spend on healthcare for all American. Where were Blue Dogs (Greed Dogs) when congress passed the medicare prescription bill written by the Drug companies? Where were Blue Dogs (Greed Dogs) when congress were requesting millions on pork projects in their districts. There is no Blue Dogs, there is Greed Dogs, People who are been supported by the drugs and insurance companies and want stall the process on healthcare.
look at who they get money from.always follow the money and you will see how they vote.
The Caucus never has been a very fiscally responsible group, so this attack is pretty much a yawn fest.
