This is all thanks to the environment rape israel is committing..what the fox anchor neglected to mention is the massive dams israel had built since the 60s to redirect river jordan thus depriving the dead sea from its major water supply...also it's well known that Israel has been hauling the dead sea water to be spread over massive areas to expedite water evaporation for mineral extraction for commercial purposes...for all those who still believe the Israelis are making the desert bloom, and for those who buy the dead sea cosmetic products from those little booths in America's mall, and all those who buy salt and fertilizers from Israel.... you are participating in destroying that environment....just because it's a dead sea with little wild life, does not mean that this amasing beautiful lowest spot on EARTH is not WORLD heritage for all Humanity...The above are just small examples of how distructive the israelis are to that land....won't go over the deforestation of thousand years old olive trees to build settlements on land confiscated by Palestinians or actively pumping petrol on lebanon's beaches during the war killing wildlife or the distructive impact the apartheid large fence built around the west bank had on wildlife....not to mention the nuclear waste from Demona's reactor stored irresponsibly in landfills close to water supply....volumes and volumes can be written about Israel's impact on the environmen­t......all for the sake of security and economic development.

All quite true. I've been to the Dead Sea and the accompanying hot springs. It's a unique place on Earth, of course, raped and pillaged by the almighty progress.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that Israel does what it wants when it very well wants to. They are exempt for any sort of meaningful consequence. That's the harsh reality. Weather it's murdering civilians, using white phosphorous in densely populated areas, using civilians as human shields, expanding settlements, UN resolutions etc.It hasn't meant a thing. Israel is immune.

That is no joke. I fell into one of those two years ago. Not only those, but there are trenches and stuff that I had to climb through to get to the sea. It was painful (both the holes and the sea).
