NBC Nightly News Analyzes Obama 'Birthers' Movement: "Becoming A Staple Of Blogs And Conservative Talk Radio" (VIDEO)

Anchor Brian Williams addressed the already-disproved claim that President Obama is not an American citizen last night in his Nightly News broadcast. The issue has become resurgent after a tape of a woman angrily questioning a GOP Congressman about the issue at a town hall spread like wildfire across the internet.

Williams called it "the question that won't seem to go away for President Obama even though it's been answered," and noted that it's become "a kind of conspiracy theory."

NBC's legal correspondent Pete Williams reported that despite being debunked, the conspiracy theory is "becoming a staple of blogs and conservative talk radio."

I really don't think that any American except for the Native Americans, should be questioning anyone citizenship. Barack Obama mother is a U.S. citizen which makes him a citizen by default.When we added Hawaii as a State it became part of America, before then it was a terratory of the U.S. It all sound like racism to me. After all, most of us came from Europe anyway. Don't question where he came from if you wont question were your ancestors came from. After all it was the ancestors of white americans who stole this country from the Native Americans and brought over African on slave ships. Therefore George Washington shouldn't have been president. This message if from an American who comes from the African American, Native American, Caucasian American, and Puerto Rican race. I am only stating the truth.

I don't think It's a black or white thing I think it's our constitution, I really wonder what will happen when his Czars turn on him.... They answer to no one... For transparency we really know very little about Obama What passport did he use when he traveled to Pakistan in 1981 that he said on his own admission. But the US department had Pakistan on the no travel list in 1981 so how did he get through customs and immigration... Any other president black or white you would want to know how they traveled. Is it because he's black we don't want the answers.

This theory has already been debunked by the State Department. There was no such ban on American travelers to Pakistan, then or at any other time. There have at times been warnings that travel to that region might be particularly dangerous, but there has been no ban.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, has released the results of their investigation of obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his person al records.
Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President obama's college transcripts from Occidental College . Released today, the transcript indicates that obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California .
The transcript shows that obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship
for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

G. Gordon Liddy was on Hardball taking up the "birther" cause. It was hilarious. Matthews presented the birth certificate, the birth announcement and the statement from the gov & health director attesting to the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Liddy's proof that he was not: Obama's step grandmother said she witnessed his birth in Kenya. LOL.
