Amazing Wedding Ceremony Dance Becomes YouTube Sensation (VIDEO)

First Posted: 08/24/2009 5:12 am Updated: 05/25/2011 1:40 pm

A newly married couple's first dance is usually a memorable moment, but Kevin Hines and Jill Peterson took things a step further when they brought the dance into their actual wedding ceremony.

The "Today Show" interviews the newlyweds about the video of their wedding ceremony that has become a YouTube sensation. Hines and Peterson choreographed a ceremony that they'll never forget, getting the whole wedding party into the act as they all danced down the aisle to the song song "Forever," by Chris Brown.

You can't help smiling as you watch it. Meredith Vieira asked her co-host Matt Lauer, "Why can you open up the show like that? A little spunk." Lauer just shook his head: "I don't think anyone wants to see that."

This video never ceases to make me laugh when I watch it. This is a great illustration of the significance of great memories, and having lots of fun on your wedding day. Usually wedding days are awfully nerve-racking and stressful, but not this one. A wedding should be like this! It's supposed to be the best day of your life, and to dance like this shows such joyfulness of living. They all had a blast the whole way through. The bride and groom obviously have so much love and joy to share! This video can't help but infect the hearts of everyone who watches it with enjoyment, positivity and inspiration. They must also have some remarkable friends too; not very many people are blessed with open-minded and willing friends like these. I can see this being an encouragement for a lot of people to have joyful weddings like this. I know it inspires me to have an exciting wedding someday. I hope I can plan a wedding as full of life and as joyful as this one.

I think it's amazing they were able to get their friends to agree to this, LOL. I wish I could hang out with this crowd. What a fun bunch of people.

Weddings should be fun...not just a boring display of wealth. Good for them for getting it right.

I just got back from my niece Jenna and new nephew Brett's wedding. When I saw this, I wished they had done this. They had the best wedding party that could of pulled this off.
Their wedding was the best I went to but this video was really original and fantastic.

Can anybody honestly tell me that remembering this entrance during the rough times every marriage goes through won't make it a lot easier to work things out rather than just saying, "Screw it, I'm outta here"?

You're so right, it would make a difference.

Perhaps we are seeing the end of bridezillas and their "I am queen" attitude.

So very cool to see they had fun with the ceremony and I wish them the best in the years to come and hope they remember their wedding day and the fun they had.
