Washington Independent:

It wasn't until late Friday afternoon that the Obama Justice Department, after years of wrangling over the fate of Mohammed Jawad, the Afghan boy arrested for allegedly lobbing a hand grenade at U.S. soldiers in 2002, admitted that it does not have enough evidence to continue to hold him indefinitely without trial under the laws of war.

Assuming this boy did lob a hand grenade at US troops invading his country, isn't it the patriotic right and duty of every citizen to resist invasion and occupation by a foreign force?

After being detained for 7 years, they now make the determination that they don't even have enough evidence to hold him on any charge. And I suppose this is suppose to be ok. I suppose there should be no investigations into why anyone should have been held for 7 years without evidence of a crime. Talk about violating basic civil rights, basic human rights. What a tragedy.
