Joan Rivers's Roast was filmed yesterday and in honor of the upcoming spectacle, Comedy Central has released a "best of" reel from past nights. While we're sure Joan's will top all of these, the humor that typically comes out of these events involves the lewdest, meanest, crudest things you've ever heard. These roasts are NOT funny. It is so obvious that the people doing the roasts have rehearsed in front of the other participants.

The participants' reactions are soooooooooooooooooo phony.


They need to rehearse with stage hands or others standing in for the other participants, so the jokes, when told, will elicit true reactions from the rest of the dais.
