She's most famous for her first lady fashion, but Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who would have turned 80 today, was just as stylish from the time she left Washington until she passed away on May 19, 1994 at age 64. Here's a look at her most remarkable moments.

July 16th was the 10th anniversary of the deaths of Jackie's son John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister Lauren Bessette. Here's a slideshow of the woman who would have been Jackie O.'s daughter-in-law, and her own timeless sense of style.

Human Sexual Response (the band) should've performed at the party with Musty Chiffon singing "I Want To Be/Jackie O'Nassis/I want To Wear A Pair Of Dark Sunglasses"

Jackie was my neighbor in New England. She was very frugal and drove around town in an older-model white car from the 60's. I would not say she was a party person. Mostly curious about the world, and always asked more in-depth questions than could be quickly answered. Would chat with folks at the Hills Deli, etc. Even working at Viking Press, Doubleday, she was always engaged in her local countryside community. Always genuine and respectful. She was neighbors with Malcolm Forbes and Elizabeth Taylor, Mike Tyson, the King of Morocco-and Malcolm would throw these grand events at his estate, filling his long rolling-hill front lawn with large colorful and decorative parasols, and then go ballooning or motorcycling the next day.

I really don't think it is fitting to celebrate a dead person's birthday.

I would like to say to all the Michelle Obama haters on here, black people don't do as you all do, we have never bashed or spoke ill of Jackie O or any other first lady like you all do Michelle. We give respect like we have always done to first ladies but there is a double standard when it come to the first black First Lady. Our first black First Lady have been attacked, attacked and attacked again and again and it's terrible and disturbing and you wonder why she was finally proud of her country like most black people. Even though this is wierd, Happy birthday Jackie O.

I watched the old black-and-
white footage from the 60s; I
cried, remembered days of tears
for John, Martin & Bobby.
