Media Barred From Palin's Post-Gubernatorial Debut At Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Sarah Palin is expected to make a visit next week to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in California, in what would be her first public appearance outside Alaska since resigning as governor, and the sponsors said on Wednesday the event will be closed to the media.

The author should post an update. In another blog, Palin's spokesperson states that she has not committed to this event and will not be attending, because she has other responsibilities.

Palin will spend the next few years twittering and applying for positions at radio stations, which she will never get.

Update:

I was reading over at Mudflats and apparently Palin's Facebook page says that she is in fact not attending. (How many cancellations from events she was going to attend til she wasn't, does this make? I lose count).

Her spokesperson was saying that she'd never commited (who said it was closed to media then? Who knows.) and that the Governor's name (she's not the Governor. That's a title that should be an honorarium for people who finished their duty, not someone who bailed) should be removed from the invitations.

Go figure.
