Obama needs to stand strong on a public option if he doesn't then he's weak and ineffectual its either a strong public option or nothing at all. he has to stand for something or he stands for nothing! Americans deserve better then this kind of weak leadership I don't even respect that kind of mentality

President Obama. Knock it off! We want single payer health care. And since we can't get that we will settle for a strong public option.

We do not care about bipartisanship. That's a joke on us, and we're not laughing. Get this done without the repubs. Twist the blue dogs arms if you have too. But get us our public option. Anything less and you fail. It will be your Waterloo without the public option.

Turn it around, kick the repubs out of committee and pass this thing! No one wants you to be a one term wonder. But that is exactly what will happen if you can't get this done.

Maybe this will help nudge them!!

I don't know if the rest of you are as fed up as I am with the obstruction and political game playing going on with this health care reform...but I DO know this - the Republican obstructionists and the Blue Dog Dems have absolutely NO clue what the rest of us are going through with healthcare. Maybe it's time they did!

If you agree, please sign the petition below, and forward it - any way you can - to anyone and everyone you know! Time to let them know how we feel!!!!

The President needs to go on national TV for at least a half hour on two or three different occassions and present his health care plan using charts and graphs. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. Vague speeches won't get the job done. Most Americans don't get a chance to hear him or his program when he's traveling around the country. It's a hit a miss thing and all you can hope for is that someone might pick up a sound bite on the news.

The President has to pull a Ross Perot. Perot was a little crazy I know, but he had a good thing going with this half hour presentations. They moved a lot of people in his direction until he proved he was a little crazy.

Obama is a man who thinks he's won if he gets 20% of what he wants. That's not bipartisan that's weak leadership. Lincoln didn't lead like that. He worked with the opposition but he never compromised on the truly important details.

why can't we put the insurance biz OUT OF biz? Why can't Obama go to a single payer system and say screw the Insurance industry. Obama has been a little too chummy with big wall street, Phrma biz and the Insurance Industry. He needs to cut the ties completely.

As always the American people never seem to grasp what this country are about and the crooks that steal from them every day. Just think about the money and lives lost in the Iraq war and trillions of dollars we gave to the same people that has plunder the country and it economy but when it comes to doing something for the people, it's always about cost and who going pay.
IF you're sick do you need to see an insurance company or do you need to see a doctor or go to a hospital?
IF you 're a millionaire or billionaire and you 're sick do you need to see an insurance company or do need to see a doctors or go a hospital.
Insurance companies don't make people well.
insurance companies are not in the constitution they do not have the right to exit .
ACCESS , if we don't have nurse and doctors to provide the care it doesn't matter what the cost or how much money you have. Seem to me all the arguments against the Canadian system are that of ACCESS not what the cost are. Our health care system should be about keeping us healthy and not the bottom-line of some insurance company. People have been living and dieing long before Insurance company. If a company cannot compete against a public option then let them go out of business ; their employees will find something else to do like the rest of us

People outside of the United States get a laugh out of the American health care debate since it should be a no brainer that a single payer, universal health care system is a necessity for any modern nation in the world.

It appears that if all Americans were given a vote today and had to choose between two issues like:

Everyone having health insurance coverage or everyone having the unconditional right to own as many guns of any type the majority of Americans would choose the right to own the guns over the right for everyone to live as long and healthy as modern medicine will allow.

I'll say this ... his advisors better wisen up and realize some basics things ...

1. IF there is no public option ... and
2. IF taxes are raised on the middle class to enact healthcare ... then

OBAMA CAN KISS HIS SECOND TERM GOODBYE.

Well, now, it's getting serious. President Obama is very close to losing the support of Larry Flynt. I'll tell you: when you start losing Larry Flynt, you're in deep, deep doo-doo.
