Palin Lawyer Threatens To Serve Libel Papers At Kindergarten

Sarah Palin's lawyer threatened to serve a blogger with libel papers at the kindergarten where he works for writing a post saying the former Alaska governor was getting divorced.

Gryphen, who writes a blog called "The Immoral Minority," wrote on Saturday that "according to my source Sarah is finished with Todd and has decided to end their marriage."

Palin's lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, wrote a letter to the blogger, asking "if you want to be served with the summons and complaint at the kindergarten where you assist or at your residence."

Gryphen laughed off the threat, telling Alaska Report, "Nothing that I wrote in my post was meant to be malicious. I trust my source and simply reported what I had been told.
Threatening to serve legal papers to an educator in a room full of five year olds? Now that is malicious."

Palin's spokeswoman issued a statement denying the divorce story on Saturday.

Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent "story" (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).

Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to 'quit making things up. We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.

It would be helpful to any intelligent person out there if the media would quit reporting on her. There is nothing but tabloid material on Palin, nothing of substance and no contributions to Alaska (except things she thinks she accomplished).

Perhaps if the media would stop sending reporters to cover her every sneeze we could forget about her. She really is one of the most pathetic persons in the news and shouldn't be given a platform. it looks like the blogger responsible for the latest divorce rumor, along with creating the Trig birth controversy, and much of the other trash against Palin, in cahoots with various Alaska Democrats, has been found. He should lose his "part time Kindergarten teacher" job soon, and all the players who tried to destroy Sarah Palin will be brought out. I would be willing to make a donation again for her legal defense fund. I would like to see some of these paid Obama bloggers have their day in court. Who knows, maybe the media will become more responsible in what garbage they report. Gov Palin, you need to get in the gutters right along with them. That is our biggest problem, we have ethics and a conscience. That is why they keep winning. There are lines we won't cross. No such rule in their rule book.

Except that it's true. Obama launched his first political campaign from the home of Bill Ayers who not only was a terrorist but continues to brag about it. Look Ayers up on Wikipedia and Amazon.

Or you could google "Obama ghostwriter Dreams From My Father" to examine evidence that Ayers had a hand in the autobiography of a man who hadn't actually done anything yet.

Again, Mrs. Palin, the quitter, should be able to handle such issues. She should not have placed herself or her family in a position to be scrutinized if she can't take the heat. Cry me a river. On 07-29-09, Gryphen posted a blog about babygate. Not a word from the Palin camp. He even said he was getting all his ducks in a row. And that nothing he found changed his mind, Palin was not the mother of Trig. Still, not a word from the Palin camp. Then the splitsville fell in his lap and it brought a threatening letter and a lot of nasty threats. A way to threaten everybody he was talking to? Maybe. This is what happens when Palin or her camp goes after bloggers. There are several Palin fan club blogs out there that have also been spewing venomous threats. And then they send money to Palin's legal fund. Palin does not believe in the true meaning of freedom of speech, even for bloggers. That may be why folks are afraid to speak out openly about Palin's deceptions.
