Fans have taken it up a notch from throwing bras and panties at Adam Lambert during the American Idol summer tour. Now they're tossing up sex toys.

"It's going further, and somebody threw onstage a red-leather tasseled whip," he tells us. "Yeah, and then the next night, I got one that was made out of, like, purple fur. It's getting really S&M."

Part 1) Adam Lambert’s unique and sexy performances are attracting thousands of new fans some of whom are offended by the bras and “sex toys” being thrown on the stage especially during Adam’s steamy Bowie Medley. The offense stems from the fact that most people are not familiar with the long tradition of women throwing their underwear in appreciation at performers whose sexuality (or sexy song) turns them on “uncontrollably.” This tradition dates back to Chopin, Liszt, Mozart, etc. It was considered an ultimate compliment! A few of the more recent artists who have been “appreciated” with panties are Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, (Tom) Jones, Humperdinck, Aerosmith, Prince, Maxwell and countless others. Among the American Idols Clay Aiken, Taylor Hicks and David Cook had to deal with panties being thrown on stage. Adam ignores the (possibly unclean) panties but plays with the bras and toys. He has acknowledged the meaning of this tradition and thanked his fans for their appreciation but he has asked them not to throw items directly at him while he is performing. Listen to this performance of Adam's from a 2004 stage production of Brigadoon and tell me he's talentless. His current style of music may not be your cup of tea, but the guy can SING.

LMFAO. Who the fxuk sings like that today aside from Plant?! This kid is the real deal. Holding the attention of every mofo in the 40K crowd like he was born for this. Photo up there's from the one closing number they're all made to do - embrace the cheeeese -barf-. HIS set is UNREAL. His tailored coat is sick. His talent is INSANE. Epic doesn't begin to describe him live, CHILLS. First dude who's managed to do a song like WLL more than justice without sounding like a flippin' karaoke clown. Kid goes from metal hard rock to an ethereal crystal clear ballad like it's nothing. Blew my mind. His voice is surreal. Effortless immense endless talent. His own music could still be tripe which would be a fkn shame but he has Plant, Page, May, Slash, Manson and a sh|t ton of other legends on his side for now so he's doing something right.
