We here at HuffPost Green are always striving to green our lifestyles, so we thought we would pass along Greenopia's directory of sustainable United States wineries as our go-to shopping list.

We can't think of a better way to be more green then to drink sustainably produced wine straight from the vine. So take a sip and vote on your favorite!

The top ten rankings were developed based on the following factors: green fruit, eco-friendly wine packing, growing practices, production and transportation, and environmental certifications.

Alma Rosa (Buellton, CA)

Certified organic, the Alma Rosa is the ultimate in sustainable wineries as it not only uses green farming techniques like water conservation but also employs a standard bottle mold for all of its wines, which reduces bottle production waste. The winery itself was designed using green building standards such as local, recycled resources.
