In a gesture that seemingly emulates the very same media she loathes, Sarah Palin reportedly dined at the famed eatery Michael's last night.

The restaurant updated its Facebook status this morning with this simple message:

Sarah Palin in the house last night for dinner!!!

And then compare it with the story that no one knew where Sarah Palin was or what she was doing until SHE called a reporter while she was having dinner at Michael's with Meg Stapleton, a lawyer representing her in the book deal, and Todd Palin.

Someone at Mudflats.net said "One reason Palin probably chose Mike Allen [the reporter she reached at 10:45 at night] is that Politico is owned by the far right Allbritton Company and definitely tilts right in its reporting."

Ms. Palin dined on Maine Lobster and quaffed champagne. She was accompanied by her husband Todd, defying all media rumours that they are separating.

It will make her sound victimized by the press, a pawn of John McCain, and very, very presidential I'm sure. Should be fun when she has to go on the speaking tours to sell it. Maybe she'll just do book signings and not do the talk show circuit. Then again, there's always Bill O and Rush and others at Faux News who would give her a lightweight interview.
