Have they ever done a "60 Minutes" parody? The character could be Mike Walrus.

I think the best parody was the "Monsterpiece Theater" production of "Me, Claudius." I still break up thinking about it. These people can be pretty sly...

I loved it when "Family Guy" did its parody of Sesame Street - Homicide: Life on Sesame Street. That was a classic!

My all-time favorite Sesame Street parody is Mad TV's "Bird Flu" skit! :-P

And he didn't mention Baltimore once.

This is a Socialist conspiracy. I know because The Lewin Group told me so.

Just off the top of my head I'm surprised and dismayed at the omission of two rather obvious candidates:

"Chariots of Fur"
The slow motion athletic exploits of Grover with his dear "old chap" Herry Monster make this a friendship story for the ages from 1 to 100.

"Waiting for Elmo"
The subtle performance of Telly Monster combined with the complete absence of the little red menace elicits a wide range of deeply emotional responses.

I assume that these oversights were inadvertent and not the result of malicious intent.

Or they aren't TV shows?

I tip the top of my head to you. You're exactly right.

I read "Sesame Street TV Show" as "Sesame Street, the television show." And then I was blinded by outrage...

I'm still a little indignant...

Guy Smiley's work on a variety of game shows and Kermit the Frog's intrepid coverage of fast-breaking news stories ought not be forgotten.

Can't beat the classics. Squeal of Fortune and Miami Mice take the prize. Count von Count and the forever cute Prairie Dawn. Normal, sensible show. Not like the Triangle show with Guy Smiley. Yeah right, Prairie.
