Fantastic! He's the most fun thing going in the early hours while getting ready to go to work. The networks are not watchable if you're also trying to eat breakfast. He's got the most interesting guests of any of them -- and gives them time. Although I would happily live w/out Doris Kearns and a lot of the other one-note guests, there's usually a dust-up or interesting edge that makes it fun. And who else has the nerve to call a certain female reporter "hatchet-face"? Imus is the antithesis of political correctness, which is a good thing if we are interested in keeping any percentage of free speech these days.

No surprise here. The guy's made a very successful and lucrative career of saying outrageous, insulting, stupid and racist things, getting fired then getting hired for more money by his previous employer's competitor.

BTW FauxBisness hiring this 70-something case of arrested development proves that expertise of a subject is not a factor in News Corp hiring practices.

At Fox, at least we will know who and where all the "hate ring-leaders" are. Thanks Fox for helping to round them up.

What does that mean? There are a lot of people with "his" views?

Obviously, Mr. Imus' comments about the Rutgers team were reprehensible and without defence. Howandever, he's really done a lot over the last eighteen months to advance a discussion amongst his listeners.

One can argue he's not sincere, etc. I don't dispute these claims.

BUT where else does one get to hear Debra Dickerson or the great Dick Gregory on a regular basis??

Dick Gregory on poverty some months back was one of the most moving, important things I've ever heard.

This comes as absolutely no surprise at all; from the way he speaks on his show, you would think that he gets a daily Mudock thought memo like the rest of the Fox "News" team, telling him which Fox comentator to have on, and how much to faun over them. I mean, he actually talks about how much he likes Sean Hannity, and had him as a guest on his ranch, and calls straight jacket model Mark Levine "the great one". As Howard Cossell would say: he's a shadow of his former self.

Imus and Fox -- birds of the same feather!

I have never heard Imus say anything remotely intelligent. He will easily meet Fox requirement for hired help.
