The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Trailer- Heath's Last Film (VIDEO)

Below is the newly released trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Terry Gilliam's troubled film starring Heath Ledger, who died before filming was complete.

Ledger's remaining scenes were filled with Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell playing transformations of Tony as he travels through a dream world.

The filmmakers talked at length about finishing the film and Heath in a Vanity Fair cover story, here if you missed it.

Imaginarium comes out in the UK on October 16 and the US on Christmas Day.

His death was one that "troubled" me for a number of reasons aside from the loss of a solid actor.

Still have not figured it out but he was one of the few that def. died before his time, had lots more to offer, sad event.

Very cool to have Johnny Depp fill in the empty spaces. This movie will go down as iconic just because of the story behind it alone. Who better to fill in for Ledger than Depp?

You're right. He didn't. But the cool thing about Waits is the people don't know who he is, wouldn't care.
And the people who do know who he is can spot him a mile away, under several layers of makeup.

I have been watching the Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus Support Site like crazy for months waiting to see the news that this trailer is out and when I clicked on Friday and found out it had been released I was thrilled. I have been waiting on this film for two years and the fact that it's becoming a reality now is just so cool. The trailer and the film just look amazing. What a feast for the eyes alone muchless the story which sounds so intriguiging!!! Can't wait! What a cast and Gilliam to boot. Doesn't get any better than that!
