Jon Stewart Rakes Blagojevich Over The Coals, Again (VIDEO)

Rod Blagojevich's value to late-night comics has been, well, bleepin' golden.

The impeached former governor's latest shenanigan, getting paid to sing Elvis at a company party, landed him a recurring segment on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart": Rod Blagojevich's Quest For Rock Bottom.

Stewart introduced the bit Thursday by noting that Blagojevich's January impeachment would seem like rock bottom.

"For most politicians, you'd be right," Stewart said. "But [he] is not most politicians. When his career crashed into the dirt, he didn't just lie there. He picked up a shovel and started digging."

When a judge nixed Blagojevich's plan to appear on "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" in Costa Rica because he was on trial for a felony, Stewart said he thought Blagojevich had, continuing with the analogy, hit bedrock.

"And if there's anything more humiliating than going on a D-list reality show," Stewart said, "it's being legally prevented from going on a D-list reality show."

It only gets worse from there.
