Pal: Tony Romo Was Embarrassed By Jessica's Drunken Ways

Romantic relations between Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo appear to be absolutely done and dusted, but according to insiders, the surprise break-up was largely a result of peer pressure from Romo's pals and Jess's love of adult beverages.

"Jessica would get really drunk and obnoxious, it was out of control. She would be sprawled everywhere with he head on his lap and the look on Tony's face said it all," an insider told Tarts. "He was so embarrassed in front of all the guys and his teammates were really harsh on him over it. Breaking up was a really hard decision for Tony to make."

Wow - Tony consulted with his friends and she drank too much! you now they were already broken up why couldn't he just leave it alone?? Whether this is true or not I have very little respect for anyone that talks about an ex publically especially if it is to slam them. It is kind of funny that there are no photos of her drunk and I doubt that Tony etc could have stopped some rag magazine from posting those. Either way it is not important and shows very poor taste on his part.

He wanted to break up with her sooner and would have if she had not done everything she could to keep their relationship on the main pages of gossip media. He actually tried to protect her from the "Jessica can't keep a man" media onslaught that was bound to come by putting up face with unexpected visits and personal information being leaked. He tried increasing the distance between them but she and her family would have none of it and stepped up the "media tips" so it would appear they were always together, even though together was nothing more than unexpectedly showing up ahead of time at someplace you really weren't expected to be. He has a PR reputation as well and the situation had deteriorated to a point that it made no sense to continue the charade any longer, especially with a Barbie & Ken" party, a party that she thought he would again put a face on for because it was her birthday, but he had already told her this was not what he looking for at this time, no engagement and definitely no marriage, but she wouldn't listen.

I'm not a fan of hers but have noticed the media loves to pick at her for her flaws. Hard to believe that her supposed excessive drinking didn't get out publicly before the breakup. If he dumped her because of his friends opinions, he's very insecure. She is better off without him. He's definitely not a man yet and still needs to grow up. Money doesn't buy common sense.

Drunk, not drunk...really makes no difference. If the guy broke up with her over flak he was taking from his "friends", he's still mentally a teen-aged boy anyway.
