I think that if Israel didn't exist there would still be plenty of violence and problems. Arab nations/lands have a history of wars with each other (Iran vs Iraq, Iraq vs Kuwait, Hamas vs Fatah, PLO vs Jordan) and then you have plenty of problems such as Georgia, Chechnya, North Korea, etc. Also, Israel was not a nation when WW1 and WW2 were fought.

I bet the majority of people don't get a say! People want a roof over their house and tend to their business without any threats. But peace does not bring money.
