Beck has been a ratings hit for Fox from day one, giving the network a big boost over its previous performance in the 5 p.m. timeslot. His antics might make some sponsors uncomfortable, but, as a Fox spokeswoman told The New York Times, those marketers haven't actually canceled their ad buys; they've merely asked that their spots run during other programming -- and only until this brouhaha quiets down, most likely.

Interesting. Maybe it's because he does bring facts to the table that nobody else on major media television makes. He takes on the Fed, the administration and Congress. His style is not appealing to me as a libertarian but his main message does. I believe, as a thinker, that Beck does a great job of introducing the uninformed to start looking at the bigger picture. Someone out there agrees with us who believe the two-party system is a sham to keep people bickering while Wall St and the World Central Banks and the IMF rob the world's citizens of wealth.

His religious stuff annoys me, but he is genuine, even if a little crazy. But when you discover what is really going on, it can make you crazy too because of the audacity of these politicians. They ALL think we are stupid.

I mean Obama just nominated Bernanke to second term. That was Bush's Fed guy. So much for Change. We need Change. We need a third party that is not entrenched in Washington politics for decades. We need a party that supports Freedom of all choices as long as other's basic freedoms aren't infringed. Gay straight rich poor, who cares? We are Americans and the Dems and Repubs don't want us to remember that because if we come together we could stop them, but we won't because we are fighting over ideals that neither party still holds; the ideals laid out in the Constitution.

What's sad isn't Beck or even Fixed News, both are just popular side show acts, it's his audience. These are supposedly thinking people with a choice of what to watch. Instead of choosing to seek out the truth or even to use a minimal amount of brain power these people blindly believe anything Beck says. A person who, outside the world of Fixed News, would be throughly discredited. He has absolutely no credibility other than in his little make believe world and to his little band of zombies.

Comparisons and pics of Bush as Hitler were EVERYWHERE! - and those were some of the milder rebukes!!!

Now, can anyone remember the media or Democrats being outraged about that? - I didn't think so!!!!!!!!!!

The point is that this feigned 'OUTRAGE' now by the media and the left (sorry for being redundant) exposes more of their character flaws - that they are fundamentally DISHONEST - than it does about Glenn Beck or anyone else on the liberal target list today.

Alas, the truth is the truth, and reality will set in for these idealogues come the midterm elections!

I don't remember any TV personality equal of Beck's standing that called Bush a racist. I don't remember anybody in the main stream media saying Bush had a "deep seated hatred of white people.

I do remember that protesters were arrested for wearing "No Bush" t-shirts at rallies that Bush attended.
