Jennifer Aniston feels rejected and upset after Bradley Cooper ditched her for Renee Zellweger, reports the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now.

"She wanted to turn her date with Cooper into something...she honestly feels screwed over," a pal tells Us of Aniston, who dined at NYC eatery Il Cantinori on June 18 with her He's Just Not That Into You costar -- a few weeks before he began dating Zellweger.

I think Jennifer Aniston is painted as this pathetic, desperate woman in the tabloids because it sells papers and magazines. And, unfortunately, men who date her can't stand the scrutiny. Nobody wants to be a potential Mr. Aniston. I feel bad for her but I also wonder if her PR people don't help keep this going because it does extend her shelf life. I mean, she's 40 and hasn't had a decent movie in years.

Aniston has plenty of success. Marley and me was a box office hit last year and made millions. Not my kind of movie though. I liked her in other roles (the Good girl, Along came Polly).. But I wish that she would challenege herself: take on more risky roles, not keep her emotions so much in check and not be afraid to look bad ... like Hally Berry (Monster's Ball) and Cameron Diaz (Being John Malkovitch) who took a chance and won awards and nominations. I think Aniston has got what it takes but maybe lacks courage.

Yeah, both Cameron & Hally changed their looks to less attractive and that takes guts. Although I think Charleze Theron's change for monster was a HUGE change. meryl streep in silkwood (I think-nuke plant) looked unattractive or Kidman as that writer too.

I'd like to see her get messy and play a junkie or something. Wasn't Hally a junkie in a spike lee movie? Oh or maybe get overweight like Charleze or Renee (bridget jones)

It's her range that she has limited herself in. I think she'd garner a lot of respect if she did.

I disagree. I don't think Aniston has the acting chops or looks to get major roles. She's no Zellweger, Kidman, or Roberts. I actually like her better in supporting roles. She was great in She's The One. I don't think she can carry a film. The Good Girl was a fluke and was good primarily because of the supporting cast which was superb.

Anniston's acting in 'Marley and me' was beyond pathetic...it was the dog that stole the show. What's that old line about not doing a movie with a dog...?

It was the only movie she did that I thought was close to great acting caliber. Other than that all her movies are puff pieces, not that there is anything wrong with that, she just lacks acting substance when she doesn't expose herself.
