Renee Zellweger Swings At A Guacamole-Filled Pinata (VIDEO)

While promoting her new movie, 'My One And Only,' on Letterman Thursday night, Renee Zellweger talked about Blue Parrot, the restaurant she recently opened along with Jon Bon Jovi in East Hampton, NY.

"We wanted a walking distance margarita, close to the beach," she said, "and being a Texan I'm very, very critical of the guacamole everywhere."

Letterman poked fun at the $12 price tag on her menu's guacamole then called for a guacamole-filled pinata to be brought into the studio. Watch Renee beat it into submission then sample its innards.

Yep $12 is a little pricey, wonder how long it will be before it closes.....like J-Lo's
restaurant in Pasadena, it closed in 2008 food was good but one of the complaints was it was too expensive.

But of course this will be lacking from any stuff on the bio, it'll say something like 'successful restauranteur' or entrepeneur, but how many celeb businesses FAIL after a short while, I'll bet there are many (they are probably all tax shelters or writeoffs)

It's odd how Letterman makes a living interviewing not-terribly-bright mannequins who're known for nothing beyond reciting the lines more intelligent, articulate people have written for them. It's hardly remarkable that Ms. Zellweger has so little to say; what's notable is that I sit here listening to her say it.

Perhaps it's just that there's something perversely fascinating about a woman who isn't allowed to eat opening a restaurant.

No, it's that she's adorable and fun and talented - and she was a guest of Dave's. Goo watch a Bridget Jones, then rent A Price Above Rubies - then try not to overeat today and get over your bitterness. She's a good heart. Save your ire for nasty people.
