Edward Lighthart, Mysterious Seattle Amnesiac, Was University of Chicago Grad

A dehydrated man who wandered out of a Seattle public park last month with no ID, $600 stuffed in a sock and amnesia has a Chicago connection.

It turns out that Edward Lighthart -- who says he remembers almost none of the details of his globe-trotting life -- got a master of arts degree from the University of Chicago in 1990. A university spokesman confirmed that Lighthart earned the degree there in 1990, six years after he first enrolled.
