Bernie Madoff Dying From Cancer: NY Post

Bernie Madoff had little to lose by confessing to masterminding the world's biggest Ponzi scheme -- he's dying of cancer, sources told The Post.

Madoff, who is serving 150 years at a North Carolina federal lockup after pleading guilty to swindling more than $65 billion, has been telling fellow inmates he does not have much longer to live.

It all suggests to me that we have not got to the bottom of this ponzi mess. Like Jack Ruby, who silenced Lee Harvey Oswald, he may well be suffering from terminal cancer and is quite likely the fall guy for something very much bigger.

At least as a prisoner Madoff wl be eligible for healthcare which is a lot more than can be said for my friend Karuna who got cancer, put off seeing an MD because she had no insurance from her minimum wage partime job and died within 1 month of entering the emergency room when the abdominable pain became unbearable.

prisoners have it better healthcare wise than most parttime , working poor and homeless Americans , who are increasing at a rapid rate

This guy is a shyster. His stock and trade was making everyone around him like him and trust him. He would befriend mass murders if they would protect him in prison.

Now we know why he plead out. I am hearing on tv that he became hysterical about checking up on any symptom he had. I don't think he was worried he was coming down with something; I think he was frantic to confirm that his days were numbered BEFORE accepting what he surely knew was life in prison.

His family (ALL OF THEM) are so involved in this entire scheme. His sons, his wife, everyone of them knew. Bernie took this dive in hopes he could deflect guilt away from his family.

I fault the government on this. I fault them for not, somehow, placing him in a prison situation that was terrribly uncomfortable, and frightening. He will now live out his days with a lowered existence, but approximately the same medical care he could have expected elsewhere. There is nothing to be done for him now except load him up with pain killers.

I don't think the government has done a good job on this mess at any point along the way. That his wife isn't homeless, on the street, in rags, is a travesty. And I didn't lose a penny from this guy.

Oh please. The fix is in.
Just like Ken Lay, who suddenly had a heart attack, was whisked immediately to cremation and poof, no jail time which he was just about to begin.
Bernie is probably building a house right next to Ken's on some remote island and will be moving in when he finishes up with Ken's plastic surgeon.
I'm sure Bernie had a big stash of cash somewhere that he will use to facilitate his exit.

If you don't think this is a possibility, think again.
Ken Lay had a physician who said he died, they immediately cremated him and he didn't serve a minute of his sentence.
This isn't some crackpot conspiracy theory like those you mention.
You underestimate the sense of entitlement these men have.
