Uh oh. We are increasing our military commitment to a completely crooked government? How could we ever have known? Bad move, Holbrooke and Obama.

Time to change tactics. Buy the entire opium crop from the farmers and guarantee their crops for the indefinite future, cut a deal with the Taliban for power sharing, and leave. We will save money, make more friends, and keep out Al-Qaeda.

The first paragraph is extremely misleading.

Karzai CLAIMS he won with a huge margin, kind of like Ahmadinejad in Iran.

There have been credible reports of widespread voting fraud & other irregularities so the claim he won is bit premature.

I wonder what the US is gong to do when Karzai's opponents take to the streets to protest his corrupt administration & the fraudulent election results?
