You blew a teaching moment, a moment for potential reconciliation and understanding.

Don’t think for a minute, oh no. Just start hyperventilating.

And NJ politicians, particularly Jewish politicians: Don’t miss a self-serving, constituent-harming chance to suck up and get some votes and campaign contributions from the most fearful (dependable) voters.

Is Qaddafi a whack job? Possibly criminal? Hard to argue against. But did we not ourselves just arrest Rabbis, Rabbis! for participating in an illegal organ donation ring? What about Jack Abramoff? What about the Rabbis of my youth arrested in the Metropolitan area for nursing home crimes? We’re so perfect?

Where exactly did we Jews get a reputation for superior intelligence?

How did New Jersey manage to elect as smart a President as Barack Obama? Just dumb luck, I guess. And Jersey is, proportionately, the most college-educated state in the US.

It just makes me marvel anew that McCain and Palin only got 46% of the vote.

You sure were right, President Obama. This is not going to be easy.

Now I know what faith is, and that I must have some. How else could I continue to believe that Yes, We Can, in the face of this continuously depressing evidence that No, Many of Us Don’t Want To?

Why is America becomming so uncivilized? Didn't George W. Bush had praises for Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi? On another note why was Chris Matthews upset at Libya for Scottland releasing that t3rrorist whay wasn't he plaming the Scottish courts?

I am repulsed that the media is controlling the fact that he would have had a new trial because of new evidence delivered by ex FBI agent Susan Lindauer who was locked up and charged and attempted frame up of her as a spy for Iraq. When she beat those charges, the U.S. government tried to have her committed as cray Z. Now, that the Bush administration is out of power, she is out of jail and talking. Corroborate her story with that of FBI Agent Sibel Edmonds. I'm repulsed that people don't know that it was because of his illness that he did not have enough time to live to clear his name in court. If you only had a short time to live, wouldn't you rather spend that time with friends and family than trying to clear your name in court. The evidence was miniscule and doubtful that it could have been found in the first place.

The place where he is to say is the property of the Libyan Ambassador, and as such is considered, for legal and political and diplomatic reason as being outside the jurisdiction of the Country, the State and the local government authority where it is located. In other word it is part of Libya and not part of the US. The Congressman can scream as much as he wants and it will have no effect. He has no authority there. That is what diplomatic immunity is all about, regardless of your political point of view. Outside of breaking diplomatic relations with Libya, which would probably have little or no effect because the Ambassador is accredited to the UN in NYC.
