The ignorance of those cherry picking things out of a great mans life is astounding. Most, especially those railing against him because of Chappaquiddick are forgetting how he took responsibility and made up for a tragic mistake hundred fold. The short list of things that he did that we take for granted and that have protected working Americans is awe inspiring:
1) Medicare
2) Worker safety
3) Woman in School Sports
4) Minimum wage
5) Desegregation

One of the greatest Senators this country has ever had will be missed big time!

Just because they have the Kennedy name and those teeth doesn't mean any of them need to "fill" his shoes.

I say bless Ted Kennedy and I wish him peace, but it is well over the time we stop acting like this family is royalty.

Get some new blood in there and let the Kennedys fade from national view.

The Kennedy's are so yesterday. Who cares? Just because you are a Kennedy it makes you special? Didn't Caroline Kennedy dispel the myth last year that the Kennedy's were blessed? If anything, she proved to be less than ordinary.

I don't expect any Kendedy do to anything but what they feel individually responsible to do. This isn't a marketing term or brand it's a family.

It's time to tell this nation we are people, we members of families/ We aren't marketing bits and pieces. I for one am tired of the termsIcon and hero. I don't even know what a terrorist is. I do know what a religious radical/extremist is, and I am seeing more of them in my own country than foreign ones.
