'Internet People' Part Two: All Your Favorites Memes In One Music Video

Huffington Post   First Posted: 09/27/09 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 02:55 PM ET

Two years ago Dan Meth released an animated tribute to people of the Internet, which was upsetting in that I realized I knew more people in the computer than I did in real life. Now that sadness is back with "Internet People 2" produced by "brentalfloss." It chronicles all the folks that memes are made of, including the ladies of "2 Girls 1 Cup," Bo Burnham, and drunk David Hasselhoff. A prize to anyone who can list them all!

The sequel sucks.

The meme is dead.

Long live the email lie.

Maybe the fact that I knew almost all of the memes in the first video and nearly none of the memes in the second is not as much a verdict on the video itself but on where I've been as of late...I guess nowhere as far as the internet people are concerned.

So now I take this "Internet People 2" as a challenge to up my meme game, so to speak. It's going to take some late nights and a super sturdy air card, but I will prevail.

Hmmm. Memes.

See, I had the same reaction, but I just assumed the second one sucked compared to the first. They had to lower their standards to continue.

Why do so many people think that simply having a blog/youtube account makes them funny?

I guess the joke is that those are all completely minor and insignificant internet memes?
