Miley Cyrus: It Sucks To Publicly Embarrass Myself (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus has been dragged through the mud for a handful of lightweight scandals, from pole dancing to Asian mocking to not-really topless photos. Things that are extra regrettable when you are famous for being a Disney starlet!

"My mistakes are kind of a little bit harder because they are in front of millions and millions of people," Miley told Natalie Morales on the Today Show Friday after performing in the rain.

"I get to go through that and I get to learn. It's hard sometimes to smile about it, because half the time, yeah, it does suck to have to go through that. But also it makes you want to try harder the next time when I know that little girls look at me and say I'm their hero."

Because she is famous - is no reason to thrust the unfair and heavy responsibility of being labeled a 'role model'. Fame does not equal role model (eg. Paris Hilton.) What are you worried about? I just see this as an easy was out for parents when their kids mess up "It's all Miley's fault!!!!". Gets you off the hook. I mean by the way some of you make it sound she has more control and influence over your kids than you do.
16 is not a kid. How old were your parents or grandparents were when they married? People are offended by Miley's sexuality.Miley is a healthy well adjusted girl. Yes you can be a Christian yet grow up to believe sex is something for procreation only or to just please their man. There is a sick desire to put a sexual spin on everything she does, down to the pics she takes with her dad.Her show is loved by millions of kids and is a positive show. Yet here's no forgiveness for her.
Some questions are off limits. How creepy is it that people are so obsessed over and feel entitled to know about a young girls virginity? People believe they have a right to judge. They don't let you change your mind. "Well it's the price you pay for fame". Well I disagree. You enjoy their concerts, movies, TV shows etc. That's even.

Yes people with young daughters are offended. Not because they aren't good parents or the fact that they haven't had any trouble with their girls. But when Miley pole dances, uses racial slurs and states that her favorite show is "Sex In The City", I say, yes people are offended. This child is growing up much too fast. Her photos on the cover of Vanity Fair were nothing short of explotation. Where is her father. Just because he was involved doesn't make it right. These tactics will lead Billy Ray to the same place Nick Hilton is. Standing dumbly by as his daughter makes a fool of herself as well as him. Nicky never says a word about how Paris carries herself. Why should he, Paris wouldn't listen anyway. Billy Ray will reap the same embarrassment because he felt his daughter did no harm. He's nothing more than a trailor park stage father who is willing to do anything to let his daughter take care of him. It's disgusting.
